The parents planned the two week stay in Scotland, so London activities where Kate's choice. After much research, she decided on the eye and the Science museum. She was given the map of your tube and got to pick what stop they found a hotel at.
She chose Kennington because it started with K. My daughter was thinking on what else to do. Any ideas??? Walking along the river east from the eye is pretty nice imo. There's the abbey by Borough Market, and of course walking along the bit by Tower Bridge is fairly iconic.
Not done it myself but I'm guessing you could take a boat partway down the river if you didn't want to walk the whole distance. Maybe someone else here knows about that. Thames Clippers or something? There's probably lots of other companies running boat trips too? If any of the party like gardens, Chelsea Physic Garden is a bit more manageable for a half day visit than say Kew. They really don't have any real criteria.
Everything interests them and are totally open to suggestions. They just want to experience London. If there were some type of criteria, something a bright ok - just bragging child may enjoy.
