I feel so blessed to have been able to know Mar Mar , and for her to call me her adopted daughter. I will never forget her generous heart and her quick wit.

My beautiful mom was and always will be an angel in heaven and once on earth. She was a light in my life from the very day my twin sister and I were born. She made everything better and more special.

She loved life and she so gracefully embraced and loved everyone that she knew. She showed an endless love to my dad - the love of her life. She cared for me and my sisters with all of her heart. She loved her seven grandchildren every day with such a loving heart and they all loved their "mare mare".

Mary's battle with cancer was courageous. She was a tenacious fighter with a grit for making each day a fulfilled one. Mary never missed an opportunity to share her words of love and gratitude, lightened here and there with a sassiness reserved for those who were willing to banter back.

You have fought the good fight. You have finished the race. You have kept the faith. Rest now, in the peace of God's everlasting love. Mary was a sweet, caring and loving woman.

The couple met in music highschool in Poland Lublin , got married 15 years later and now — for fun — playing music together. Draka Duo performs a wide variety of music — beginning with classical Chopin, Bach, Piazzola , through folk klezmer, gypsy, balkan , all the way to popular polka, tango, waltz, film music and other. The group was founded in under the direction of Maciej Smusz and performs at events all over Utah and neighboring states.
