Waited in the customer service line for about an hour, finally got to the front and was able to get a seat on the pm flight. Customer service rep snidely told me "don't be late this time" as if my waiting until final boarding justified the fact that they had given my seat away.

That flight was then delayed until 11pm. I didn't land back home until around 2am, and had work the next day at 8am. I was never compensated whatsoever for the whole ordeal, nor was I even treated politely - the entire time, they tried to make me feel as if I was in the wrong. I used to love Frontier, I'm from Denver and have used them almost every time I've gone back to visit there.

I had picked 3A because it allowed me more leg room and a reclining seat. I stand 6' tall! I was gladly to pay the extra cost for the extra comfort. I was having trouble with their website so I ended up calling customer service to complete my transaction.

The customer service person said he completed my transaction and seat assignment and would send me a confirmation, soon. The night before my flight, my confirmation finally arrived with the wrong seat. My seat had been changed to the bulkhead with no leg room at all. My original set was sold to someone else. I feel this was very unfair and I should receive a refund. I ended up moving into a row that didn't recline but it had and area under the seat in front of me to at least stretch out a little.

This airline has all of these little nickel and dime charges for everything. And the seats are horribly uncomfortable, hard as rock and don't recline. Like some cheap school bus seats! Babies and kids screaming and crying! As much as it cost for all of the BS nickel and dime charges, you might as well pay the price to fly a better my comfortable airlines. With all of the charges it comes out to the about the same in the end!

I got a cheaper flight than the competitor and then they charged me for everything they could. I spent the extra money for the front three rows because I'm 6 feet 4 inches and there is extra leg room in the front.

I get there and and they say "oh, those are reserved. I got my 30 dollar luggage checked in for free instead of the 50 dollars I spent for the seat. The SAME thing happened on the way back!!!!! The seats are comaparible to a dollar go cart seat and I had to become a yoga master to use the bathroom, which is due to my height but just icing on the cake or dirt on my mud pie.

When I checked it at the ticket counter it fit within their metal frame for measuring. When I got to the gate, they told me to step aside and check my bag. Without even looking at my bag, the lady at the counter told me it wouldn't fit and I had to pay extra.

I told her it fit, and with an attitude, she asked me to put it in the frame to see if it fit. Suddenly, it did not. She said it didn't fit by over 2 inches. I was furious. The flight they wanted to rebook me for was still selling for the same rate which I purchased my original ticket. I only had a carry on. There was no reason I should have not been able to board my original flight or at the least rebook at no cost.

Total rip offs but I guess that's what I get for flying with such a low class airline like Spirit. Never again and I will never recommend flying with this airline. They have so many hidden fees. By that time I had already missed the ceremony of a wedding in which I was a groomsman. I got off the plane and rushed to get my bag from the baggage claim only to find that my bag was not there. I went to the spirit help desk in San Diego and nobody was available. So I called spirit customer service in Las Vegas 3 times in a row before a human answered.

I was told there was a mix up and my bag was left in Las Vegas. After the whole ordeal of the delayed flight and missing bag. I was flying out of san diego the next night. I had to leave that day from vegas. Because of the cancellation I had to rent a car and driv from las vegas to san diego. We got in late and missed our time playing at the beach and swimming. This was my only experience with spirit and I will never fly this airline again.
