My manager and supporting employees were great. We had a lot of fun doing great work for amazing clients. Share your experience Let job seekers know what it's like to work at your company. Loved the people I worked with, but the account management at the time was poor. Clients were not managed properly by upper management which lead to very late hours for consecutive days i.

The agency is always looking for the next way to innovate media planning and buying. It is fast paced and they will leave employees in the dust if it means being the first to create a workflow that is difficult to maintain. If you don't have a specific career path in mind and are just excited to be involved in media in any capacity, this may be the perfect place for you.

Pros Dto, Wfh, Learning opportunities. Cons Clique Culture, inconsistent dynamic. Loved my experience at UM as an intern, it was amazing! I learned a lot from everyone there and their internship program is very thoughtful and helpful to young professionals. UM is filled with very knowledgeable people who are great at their jobs.

The pace is very fast and there is not a lot of tolerance for error. Overall its a great place work work and to learn, but the pace is not very sustainable.

My day to day ranged from sitting in meetings with different agencies that our clients worked with, responding to client and vendor emails, monitoring campaign performance metrics and creating competitive reports for each month. The hardest part of the job was the workload, learning complex information about the brands since they were both pharmaceutical drugs and the long hours on some days. The most enjoyable part was the people I worked with on my team and the perks free food, vendor outings, etc.

If I were younger working here, I think I would've loved it. As it were, I had two young children, and I don't think this industry is conducive to healthy family life. I loved my team, the client, and my perks and pay.

It just wasn't for me. Yes There are 1 helpful reviews 1 No. Great people, great clients and diverse working culture. Management and culture is what drives this company. Definitely a place to feel inclusive, self-promoted. High stress, fast paced environments, not sustainable in the long run, but learned a lot from the experience Most managers don't care about their direct reports development. Pro's - Amazing, hard-working employees - Great internal tools - Depending on which accounts you're on there is a work-life balance - The employees here are EXTREMELY savvy on all things media related and the environment pushes you to learn and stay up to date with the latest tools Con's - Extremely underpaid for work, and depending on which city you live in, can be unlivable - Promotions based on favorites vs work of other employees - Favorites are transparent and employees have been pushed out.

Nice modern offices - centrally located. A bit of long hours when high demand projects need to be completed. Lots of different work groups needed to get the job done. UM was a nice place to work, I was only there for a short time 8months due to the loss of a major client.
